Round Tip or Swivel Pad?
Aluminum (AL) Squares
Swivel tip models are recommended for use with aluminum squares to avoid leaving marks when clamping down extra hard.
Cast Iron (FE) Squares
Cast iron is harder, so swivel vs round tips are more of a user preference. The round tips tend to be a little easier to maneuver into place with their smaller footprint, but swivel tips are handy if you work with softer materials.
165 mm or 280 mm?
200mm Squares
For application with 200mm Squares, we suggest 165mm pliers.
300mm Squares
For application with 300mm Squares, we suggest 280mm pliers.
