Explaining FM19 Fixture System

  • The entire Fireball Table system is based on 19 mm diameter hole sizes on a 50 mm grid pattern.
  • All fixtures are also based on a 19 mm diameter hole size and use 25 mm thick by 50 mm wide fixtures.
  • Tables and plates come in different thicknesses for different applications and price points, but ALL Fireball 19 mm fixtures are compatible with ALL Fireball 19 mm tables whether it’s a 1,500 kg heavy duty table or a portable 20 kg plate.

Why 19 mm Hole System

  • 45% larger cross section compared to 16 mm holes means stronger bolts, stronger clamps.
  • Largest hole size while still having a 50 mm grid pattern on the table and 25 mm hole pattern on fixtures.

Why 50 mm Grid Pattern

  • The 50 mm grid pattern is the ideal hole density to get clamps and fixtures where you need them.
  • Many fixtures require 2 bolts to properly align them. Having a 50 mm grid pattern allows shorter, more compact fixtures compared to a 100 mm hole spacing. This is even more important when fixtures have slots to bridge the gap to the next hole, and is the difference between a 100 mm on a 50 mm grid, vs a 200 mm slot on a 100 mm grid.

Table Sizes

  • Typical tables are 1200x2400 mm long to work with sheet material, but this means the entire table surface is covered. Our unique sizes such as the 2600x1400 mm table allow you to fixture and clamp down on full 1200x2400 mm sheets. It may not sound like much, but by expanding our tables by 100 mm on each side, you get a lot more surface area to use.
  • Our tables and plates are often designed with common widths to make it easy to join and expand tables in the future.

What Makes the 19 mm Hole System Superior to 16 mm

  • 45% larger hole cross section while still allowing 50 mm spacing on table and 25 mm spacing on accessories.
