Fireball Table System Overivew

One fixture system. Three table series. Here's how to find the right one for you.

Every Fireball table shares the same 19 mm hole system on a 50 mm grid, so your fixtures, clamps, and tooling work on every table in the lineup - from a portable 20 kg plate to a 1,500 kg production table. The series differ in plate thickness, sidewall height, rigidity, and size. Pick the one that fits your shop, your budget, and your work.

Choosing the table that's right for you

Heavy Duty

Heavy Duty Series Tables feature a single piece, cast iron construction for best rigidity and flatness with 25 mm thick top and sides.

  • Machined from single piece casting, 25 mm Top & Sides
  • Our most rigid table series

Dragon Wagon

Same construction method as heavy duty series, but with 12 mm thick top and sides.

  • Machined from single piece casting. Holes machined to 12 mm thickness, with extra material and thickness on the underside.
  • Railroad track style ribbing for extra rigidity.

Pro Series

Ultimate work station solution that keeps everything organized.

  • Machined from single piece casting. Holes machined to 12 mm thickness, with extra material and thickness on the underside.

Explaining FM19 Fixture System

  • The entire Fireball Table system is based on 19 mm diameter hole sizes on a 50 mm grid pattern.
  • All fixtures are also based on a 19 mm diameter hole size and use 25 mm thick by 50 mm wide fixtures.
  • Tables and plates come in different thicknesses for different applications and price points, but ALL Fireball 19 mm fixtures are compatible with ALL Fireball 19 mm tables whether it’s a 1,500 kg heavy duty table or a portable 20 kg plate.

Why 19 mm Hole System

  • 45% larger cross section compared to 16 mm holes means stronger bolts, stronger clamps.
  • Largest hole size while still having a 50 mm grid pattern on the table and 25 mm hole pattern on fixtures.

Why 50 mm Grid Pattern

  • The 50 mm grid pattern is the ideal hole density to get clamps and fixtures where you need them.
  • Many fixtures require 2 bolts to properly align them. Having a 50 mm grid pattern allows shorter, more compact fixtures compared to a 100 mm hole spacing. This is even more important when fixtures have slots to bridge the gap to the next hole, and is the difference between a 100 mm on a 50 mm grid, vs a 200 mm slot on a 100 mm grid.

Table Sizes

  • Typical tables are 1200x2400 mm long to work with sheet material, but this means the entire table surface is covered. Our unique sizes such as the 2600x1400 mm table allow you to fixture and clamp down on full 1200x2400 mm sheets. It may not sound like much, but by expanding our tables by 100 mm on each side, you get a lot more surface area to use.
  • Our tables and plates are often designed with common widths to make it easy to join and expand tables in the future.

What Makes the 19 mm Hole System Superior to 16 mm

  • 45% larger hole cross section while still allowing 50 mm spacing on table and 25 mm spacing on accessories.

16 mm System

What Makes the 19 mm Hole System Superior to 28 mm

  • 50 mm hole spacing on tables vs 100 mm spacing.
  • 92% more holes

19 mm System

25 Holes Per 300x300 mm Section

28 mm System

13 Holes Per 300x300 mm Section

What Sets Every Fireball Table Apart

  • Oversized Surface Area — Fireball tables are larger than the industry-standard 1200x2400 mm format, providing approximately 20% more working surface. That extra space matters when positioning fixtures around a full-sized weldment.
  • Higher Hole Resolution — The 19 mm hole system at tighter hole centers gives you the strength advantages of a 28mm style system combined with the finer positional resolution of a 16mm-style system — in one table.
  • Machined Grid Lines and Perimeter Labeling — Every hole on a Fireball table has a unique label. Record exactly where every fixture was placed, come back weeks later, and set everything back up in minutes.
  • 100% Cross-Compatibility — Every Fireball table uses the exact same hole centers and spacing. Your tooling works on every table, and any two tables can be combined seamlessly.
  • The 19 mm Hole — A Century-Old Standard — The 19 mm hole has been shared between woodworkers and blacksmiths for over 100 years. Standard off-the-shelf 19 mm bolts work directly in the table — no specialized fasteners required.
  • Rigidity That Doesn't Depend on Your Floor — Fireball tables are engineered so rigid that they do not need to be leveled to be flat. The table is isolated from the floor — whether your shop floor is perfectly flat or not, your table surface will be.
